ILS Goes Online!

We at Indian Life & Style are truly excited to launch the first online edition of the magazine with this issue. You will find the same topnotch feature articles and columns you have become accustomed to that will pique your interest and engage your senses.
Our cover story on Punam Mathur, "MGM's Grand Dame of Diversity," is an inspirational one as well as chock-full of insights into succeeding in the corporate world. Mathur's own comments and nuggets of advice reflect the incredible knowledge she has gained from her experience, which she graciously shares with all who aspire to climb up the corporate ladder.
Turning to the more cerebral world of literature, coffee table books have always been a staple of publishers throughout the world. These books have found their place in the living rooms of not just bibliophiles, but are often included as part of one's interior décor.
In a recent trend, an increasing number of such books have had India as their theme, whether historical, spiritual, political or artistic in nature. Our feature, "Picture Perfect: Spectacular Coffee Table Books Pay Homage to India," offers a look at some of the more notable coffee table books to have been published recently, which are truly a treasure trove for the home.
Given that this year is the 60th anniversary of Indian Independence, our Matinee section provides a glimpse into some of the most patriotic films to have been made in Bollywood. Many of these are also available on DVD for those of you too young to have watched the original screening.
As we expand our readership globally and invade cyberspace, we hope our readers will enjoy this new experience of Indian Life & Style online. Keep those comments coming!
